POLITICAL colours don’t really come to the fore in the committees at Thurrock Council. Councillor Wendy Herd has become quite a thorn in the side of Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital; Councillor Amanda Arnold has the whole brief at the fingertips. They are also ably supported by Councillor James Halden.
