Tilbury is hosting the third Thurrock’s Future — Let’s Talk evening where residents can talk with and question senior politicians and officers of the council.
The event will be held at Lansdowne School in Lansdowne Road, starting at 7pm sharp and running for 90 minutes on Thursday, 3 March.
It follows previous Let’s Talk sessions in Stanford-le-Hope and South Ockendon in 2010.
Residents are invited to send in questions, but there is also an option to ask questions direct on the evening.
Cllr John Kent, Leader of the Council, will be there along with his cabinet colleagues, Chief Executive Graham Farrant and members of the Directors’ Board.
Cllr Kent said: “This is a chance for you to ask us questions about the issues facing the borough or facing you personally — and to get answers.
“I would urge everyone to get involved, ask questions and come along to the meeting. There will be a chance to mingle with cabinet members and high-ranking council officers after the formal session is over.”
Please send your questions in advance by 18 February to: Thurrock’s Future – Let’s Talk, Communications, Thurrock Council, New Road, Grays Essex, RM17 6SL, or by emailing mailto: [email protected]
There will also be an opportunity for you to raise questions on the night.
