CREWS using specialist cutting equipment freed a woman trapped in her vehicle following a road traffic collision near Bulphan last night (Wednesday).
The Electricity Board was alerted to deal with a live cable on a street sign involved in the accident.
Firefighters administered first aid at the scene while waiting for ambulance paramedics to arrive. The casualty was left in their care.
The incident involved two vehicles and was dealt with by 18:15 hrs.
