STUDENTS from a number of Thurrock schools paid testimony to their experiences on a visit to Auschwitz recently.
At a moving ceremony at the Thameside theatre, pupils form Ormiston Academy, Gable Hall, William Edwards, Grays School and Chafford Hundred spoke movingly of the experience.
The students used a variety of ways to illustrate what they saw and what they felt.
The visit was a partnership between Thurrock Council and a number of organisations throughout the borough.
