A PACKED HOUSE saw the first Glee show for Thurrock schools at the Thameside Theatre this week.

The show was a partnership between Thurrock Music Services (TMS), Starmaker, Thameside Theatre and YourThurrock.

TMS teacher, Shana Elliot-Hayers said: “This is our first show and we were bowled over by the students and sell out audience.

“I am very grateful for the praise to all those involved. I had a very kind letter from cllr Amanda Arnold who came to the show”.

YT filmed all the acts and will be putting them on over the next few days.

Among the performers were Ormiston Park Academy who truly showcased what an amazingly talented bunch of singers they really are with their covers of Cee Lo Green’s ‘Forget You’ and Duffy’s ‘Mercy’.

I suspect we won’t be forgetting these incredibly talented students anytime soon, and I hope will be hearing a lot more from them in the very near future. Congratulations to all that performed!
