THERE
was plenty of fun at the new community flat on the Garrison Estate in Purfleet on Shrove Tuesday (8 March).
Members of the newly formed residents’ association and Thurrock Council’s tenant participation team were on hand to dole out home-made pancakes to visitors.
The aim of the two-hour event was to raise awareness of the flat and the association ― and to have some fun at the same time.
Dozens of residents, young and old, came along to the flat in Centurion Way for their tasty treats of pancakes with lemon and sugar.

Good luck to the new residents group and i’m pleased there was a good turn out.
Congratulations to everyone involved .
