THE THURROCK LAWN TENNIS club ended their winter season on a high note when the mens doubles winter league played their last match of the season yesterday (Sunday) and beat Aldersbrook 3-1.
This gave them the top spot in Division 6 becoming champions after already gaining promotion to 3b in the summer league as well.
The Ladies played Saturday and drew with Aldersbrook consolidating 3rd spot in their division.
The mixed doubles got into the final for the first time in 58 years but narrowly lost to Westcliff.
