GRAYS boss Julian Dicks has become the latest name to be linked with managerial vacancy at Newport County reports Wales online.
But the County hierarchy insist they will not be pressured into making an appointment, even though caretaker Tim Harris has now been in place since January following the departure of Dean Holdsworth.
Dicks, has expressed an interest in the job, but Harris is giving little away at present.
“The process is ongoing and there is no rush whatsoever,” he said.
“It’s a massive decision for the club because they have to get it right. If it takes another two or three weeks, then so be it.
“The club’s future is at stake here and the board are looking to get this right for the sake of the next two or three years.
“There is no immediate pressure although I appreciate everyone wants to know.”
