All the best for SATs

Thurrock’s cabinet member for education, Cllr Diana Hale, has told the borough’s primary schools they have her best wishes for this week’s SATs examinations.

“I would like to wish all the pupils and primary schools the good luck this week,” said Cllr Hale.

“Whatever your thoughts about SATs, or Standard Assessment Tests, at Key Stage 2, they can put extra pressures on schools, on teachers and on pupils.

“Primary education is a key priority for Thurrock Council and I wish everybody good fortune.”
