Polka Dot to knock spots off Thameside Christmas panto!

FOR THE first time in over 30 years, the Thameside pantomime will not have the words above the title: “A Bruce James Production”

Thurrock Council announced yesterday that the contract for this season’s pantomine has been awarded to Polka Dot Productions from Spalding in Lincolnshire.

The decision was made after a open tender process and judged on the contents of the tenders submitted.

Mark Allinson, Thurrock Council’s theatre manager, said: “Our staff will be working with Polka Dot Productions to make this the best Thameside panto ever.”

  1. I definately wont be buying tickets. Polka Dot productions are so interested in their profits that they charge their juvenile dancers to be in the show!. Shame on you Thurrock Council for replacing a lovely company like Bruce James with people that are so interested in their profits that they feel they have to charge the junior members of their cast.
