Palmer’s students had a taste of life as a professional photographer with a print sale of their work at the Horndon Feast and Fayre over the weekend.
The work for sale – including framed prints and postcards – was produced by A-level Photography students and staff.
During their A-level course, Palmer’s photography students learn to use a different cameras and equipment, process their own film in the College’s dark room, make their own photographic prints and experiment with materials
Kerry Baker, Curriculum Manger for Photography, said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for local people to buy work by local artists and I’m sure everyone will be impressed with the standard of the work on display.”
Mark Vinall, Principal, added: “I’m pleased that the fantastic work by our students in on display for the community to see. They should be incredibly proud of their efforts.”
