FORMER Spurs and England stars will be turning out tomorrow to help raise money for the Karis May Darling Foundation.
The charity event is another event to help fund the building of a community centre for young people.
Karis, 12, a pupil at Gable Hall School in Corringham, died in April of brain bug streptoccus A.
Since then her family and friends have been working tirelessly to raise funds and have amazed many with their commitment and zeal.
The foundation has already raised £44,000 since it was formed.
Among the footballers who have agreed to take part are former Spurs star and Grays Athletic manager Justin Edinburgh, ex-Southend United player Andy Ansah and former Southend player and England manager, Peter Taylor.
The event will kick-off from 11am with a mini soccer tournament for under-eights. From 11.30am to 12.30pm there will be a coaching session for girls and boys under ten, and the football match will start at 1pm.
During half-time, the Karis Angel’s Choir will also be doing a live performance.
The match is taking place on Sunday, August 7, at the Basildon United football ground in Gardiners Close, Basildon.
Tickets will be a minimum of £1. For more information, e-mail info@karismaydarling foundation.org.uk
