Cllr Kiely issues apology

FURTHER to the controversy over the tweets made by Ockendon councillor Aaron Kiely, the young councillor has issued a statement.

Cllr Kiely said:

“I apologise wholeheartedly for my comments. There is no excuse for the violence and vandalism we have seen, it is disgraceful criminal behaviour which I condemn.

“I pay tribute to the police officers who have worked around the clock to restored law and order. I also praise the efforts of Essex Police in making sure the streets of Thurrock remain safe for residents.”

  1. Hmmmm, now was this really Cllr Kiely’s apology or is this the standard Party apology that was put together for him?

So he now pays tribute to the very police that he accused of institutionalised racism, now either he has suddenly had a change of heart or he does not mean a word of his statement…………………

Yep Sting, my twopenneth worth, I woudl have bet a dollar to a pound that you would come out and try and defend yet another Councillor who has been caught doing things they shouldn’t đŸ™‚
