Ton not enough for Horndon seconds

HHCC 2nd Xi  261 all out
Harlow 2nd XI 262 for 7
It was a must win game for both team with 3 weeks to go and although HHCC lost , there were many positives to take form the game as they picked up 11 points to Harlow’s 18.
HHCC started strong with Terry Hurrell blasting the ball to all parts of the ground on his way to 103, supports well by back to back 50’s from Dave Roberts and up and coming colts James Stitson 22 , Ryan Cutts 14 and Lawrence Petts 19
With a strong Total on the board HHCC knew they needed to take early wickets to secure the win, however Harlow’s Anthony Webb has other ideas as he matched Hurrells ton with 105 not out of his own to take his team to victory from the last over.
Mark Wills was the pick of the bowlers collecting another 5 wicket haul for the season
