THE FAMILY of a South Ockendon 
pensioner killed in a collision with a white van near Lakeside last Wednesday have paid tribute to her.
Ellen Elliot, 84, was described by her family as “devoted to caring for us all.”
“Ellen has taken her well deserved place in the Lord’s kingdom.
“Ellen leaves her husband Frank and children Frank, Ellen, John, Alan, Paul and her many grandchildren. We will miss the love and guidance given to us all in her time among us.
“Ellen served in the RAF and worked throughout her life whilst raising five children as well.”
