WHEN we interviewed young film-maker James Kavanagh a few weeks ago, he said he was a busy young man. Well he was right as he has just published his latest project.
Grays-based James directed “In Your Arms” at a variety of locations around the borough including the Civic Hall at Blackshots.
Here is a bit more about Lexii
“After all auditioning as solo artists, Lexii are a newly formed girlband that were put together by the judges during the Boot Camp stages of the EsseX Factor 2011.
The girls successfully made it through to the live shows of the competition, after impressing the judges with their rendition of Britney Spears’ classic ‘Baby, one more time’, given only less than 24 hours to learn the song and choreograph the routine.
The rest as they say, is history, as the girls marched on into the live shows of the competition. Each week was a new challenge with their performance skills being tested, as the girls faced songs from Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Cheryl Cole and the Vengaboys! Needless to say, Lexii delivered in style and received standing ovations from the judges and great comments on almost a weekly basis.
Lexii are now the reigning champions of the EsseX Factor. The girls manager and lead judge on the show, Lee Knell, said: “I am extremely proud of the girls. The effort they put into the shows and the commitment they have displayed as a group should not go unnoticed. As with any group of musicians, time is of the essence, and I am sure that with time and guidance, Lexii can be something special”.
