Thurrock suffer another depressing defeat

SOMETHING is clearly going wrong at Thurrock after their third heavy defeat in eight days saw them slump to second from bottom in the league.

It was a fine first half performance by Maidenhead that saw them four up by half time.

Martel Powell struck twice for the Magpies, while Alex Wall and an Anthony Thomas penalty completed the scoring for the home side.

They next take on Boreham Wood away and then Welling at home over the Bank Holiday weekend, knowing that two defeats there would be a real crisis for the Fleet.
