STAFF from Domino’s Pizza took to the streets in force at the Stanford and Corringham Carnival and raised over £200 for local charities.
Local Domino’s Pizza Franchisee, Paul Ashurst, said: “We sold giant pizza slices for £1.50 all afternoon with all of the proceeds going to local charities. This was the first time we have sold pizza slices at the carnival and we’re thrilled with the result. We also gave away goody bags, frisbees and beach balls and we’ll definitely be back next year to raise even more for charity.”
Company Mascot Danny Domino was also on hand all day helping to make it a memorable afternoon. Domino’s Pizza is located in Grover Walk, Corringham and was recently awarded the top mark of five stars in the FSA’s
Scores on the Doors programme.
