REPRESENTATIVES from the NSPCC heaped praise on the students of Ockendon Academy for raising over £3,200 for the charity.
The school embarked on a huge range of activities and fund-raising schemes.
Nasima Patel and Teresa Strange from the NSPCC came to the school for a special assembly and presentation joined by former teacher and fundraiser Gill Metcalfe.
