T-BIRDS continued went top of Championship South with an eight try rout of Wasps’ second string.
With their first team sitting high in the Premiership Table, the Wasps second team are always big, strong and well organised.
With England U20 fly half Emily Scott pulling the strings behind the pack, she quickly put flying Dannie Harris away for the first try.
Kat Emerson collected both started an finished off an impressive move which put the score at 12-0.
Scott then effectively won the game with the third try inside 15 minutes by chasing up her own kick.
Other try scorers were Laura Kavanagh (with a try made by Tammy Nichols) and Dannie Harris (a second half hat trick) and vice captain Nichols.
With the final score 50-0, the five try bonus point ensures that Thurrock T-Birds are top of Championship South.
On Sunday T-Birds are away to Bath in a top of the table clash.
