THE regional shopping centre, one of the first of its kind in the UK, will mark its big birthday on 25th October with an all-day party for its shoppers, a £2,100 giveaway and a grand firework display on the lake.
As an enduringly popular destination for families, Lakeside’s birthday party will be hosted by the team from Cbeebies, with plenty of party games and fun for kids of all ages. Adult visitors will have the opportunity to win a Gift Card loaded with £2,100 and there will be a bespoke birthday cake created especially for the occasion by Krispy Kreme.
Lakeside has been celebrating its birthday throughout the whole of 2011, with extra-special events, grand giveaways for its customers, an exhibition of its 21 year history, 21 Good Deeds for local charities and community groups, and much, much more.
