AN 18 year old man is appearing at court today (October 19) charged with attempted robbery following an attempted car jacking in Aveley on October 6.
Jeffrey CAPELLO, aged 18 from New Bradwell, Milton Keynes is charged with attempted robbery and possession of a controlled class B drug and will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court.
The incident occurred when the occupants of a car were approached by two men in Belhus Park Leisure Centre car park shortly before 8pm on Thursday, October 6. These men tried to snatch the ignition keys from the owner while he was in the car, but he challenged them.
Surely there has to be more to this story. Why would an 18 year old from Milton Keynes be in Thurrock and then try to steal a car….
