THURROCK is changing and that change is starting to happen at an increasingly rapid rate.
Thurrock Council wants to work with local businesses of all shapes and sizes to create a regeneration programme that meets everyone’s needs.
A Let’s Talk Business conference is being held at the Civic Hall, Blackshots, Grays, between 8am and 10.30am on Friday, 4 November where the council will outline its vision for the future and invite local businesses to have their say too.
Cllr John Kent, Leader of the Council, who will be at the event, said: “The council is determined to improve and develop its relationships with the business community.
“We want to work with that community to create a better set of priorities which provide a focus for our activities and make Thurrock the place to do business.
“We want to work with the current business community to see what they want for their future.”
He said: “This conference has been organised specifically to engage with local businesses, key partners and stakeholders, so they can express their views, share the exciting opportunities in the area and create business opportunities for those attending.”
