‘ngage’ in some Christmas fun!

ngage, the community organisation are holding their annual Christmas Fun Night this year on Thursday 15th December between 4.00pm and 7.30pm at the Civic Hall, Blackshots, Grays.

The whole night is FREE and includes free entertainment, craft and play activities for the children, mince pies and refreshments and much more. To top it all, Father Christmas has promised to drop in on his sleigh with a free gift for children under the age of 10 (limited to first 250).

Jacqui Payne, Programme manager for ngage said “Everyone has such as great time and it is full of surprises. We have ‘sketch’ the children’s entertainer, face painting, balloon modelling, craft activities and a great colouring competition for children. We have a silent disco and are hoping that people will have a dance as it is sure to be fun, especially for those who are watching!. We also have a free raffle to win Lakeside vouchers and a hamper of Christmas goodies for one lucky person to win”.

The event helps to highlight what’s happening through partnership working and to celebrate the achievements of local community and voluntary groups and encourage more people to get involved.

There will be many display stands available including Digital Switchover, where residents will be able to find out more about the 2012 switchover and the help scheme available. Local community groups will also be there with information about how residents can get involved in their local area through volunteering and local decision making opportunities.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
