Hammer-fest as books reflect on West Ham history

TWO top authors and also fans of West Ham have published a brace of fascinating books on the borough’s favourite football team, West Ham United.

Broadcaster, Jeremy Nicholas’ latest book is “Mr Moon Has Left The Stadium – Confessions of a Matchday Announcer”.

It’s a funny look at his life as a football announcer for West Ham United.

You don’t need to be a fan of West Ham or even football to enjoy it. The book’s been described as Fever Pitch meets Bridget Jones’s Diary.

Fellow broadcaster, Ian Dale has also published a book on the history of West Ham United.

YT caught up with both authors at a book signing session at Waterstones in Lakeside.
