A SCIENCE LESSON at Grays school and Media Arts College ended in chaos as fire broke out in the classroom.
Two fire engines came to the rescue of the unfortunate teacher at the Hathaway Road school at just before 3pm this afternoon.
Firefighters at the Hathaway road school wore wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet to tackle the fire.
The fire was fully extinguished by 15:31hrs, Crews also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the building.
