FIRST THINGS first: Ockendon street rep John Noon has achieved his first goal by getting security gates around the back of the houses on Tamarisk Road. It has been quite a battle bit if John promises to get something done then he gets things done.
John’s next project (you can hear the council officers heads beating the desks from here!) is to address what he calls the “clear and present danger” of the Tamarisk Bridge.
The bridge straddles two parts of Ockendon. Although it has been made much brighter through a graffiti project a few years ago, John has certain concerns.
