Renaissance women at the forefront at Grays Convent

THE IMPORTANCE of an all-round education has never been so important than in 2012 and at Grays Convent, the school lay great emphasis on the girls leaving at the end of year 11 with an array of key skills.

So an important subject is resistant materials. To an older generation it simply means the skills you acquired in metal work and woodwork. But the importance is that it may be the dawn of new technicians in Thurrock or simply means the girls are totally proficient at DIY when they buy their first house.

YT spoke to Belle and Abigail about the subject and how it enhances their education.
