A FIRE THAT started in a garage spread to the roof of Corringham bungalow yesterday (Thursday).
The fire happened at 3.45pm in Chamberlain Avenue, Corringham
The officer in charge reported that the garage was 100% alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose jets tackled the fire.
An hour later, the fire spread to the roof of the bungalow. Crews using three hose reel jets extinguished the fire by 17.46hrs.
