HARRIS ACADEMY (Chafford Hundred) welcomed 27 Danish trainee teachers of English and their lecturer Mrs Hanne Thomsen to the Academy.
It was the trainees’ first visit in a British School and they found the structure fascinating. They observed several lessons and were impressed with the teaching and learning as well as the way the students responded to their teachers. The trainee teachers were given the opportunity to visit Chafford Hundred Primary School and were delighted to have had the chance to gain first-hand experience in both a primary and a secondary school in England in one day.
The school is always looking forward to recieving old acquaintances to the Academy as Hanne was a partner of a Multilateral Comenius project of which the then Chafford Hundred Campus was also a partner.
They have continued to support each other and are looking forward to working together again in the future.
