DOCKERS BOSS, Paul Vaughan must be a very proud man. Ever since August, when the Dockers fleetingly topped the league, nearly every person said: “It will never last.” But week in and week out this season, they have proved us wrong with a great team ethic and outstanding displays.
Speaking to boss, Paul Vaughan today he said: “I am very very pleased that we are still in charge of things.
“We have just five games to go and we are still in the play-offs.
“It is going to be tough but we have nothing to fear.”
League leaders Leiston visit Chadfields on Easter Saturday in what will be another massive game for the Dockers.
Paul said: “We are looking forward to it. Thye may be champions-elect but nobody has had an easy game at Chadfields. We were unlucky against Sudbury two weeks ago but we came bouncing back against Heybridge.
Tilbury beat Heybridge Swifts 2-0 at the weekend to cement their position in the play offs. Both Harlow Town and Sudbury are breathing down their necks but the two sides play each other on Saturday.
