THE PARALYMPIC gold medallist is perhaps one of the borough’s finest role models.
It has been a pleasure to film Danny’s speeches to school presentation evenings and nights such as Next Top Boss (NTB).
Danny told the audience at NTB that he was launching his autobiography, “Danny Boy”. He also told then that his publishers had suggested a swish London hotel but Danny had insisted that the launch would be in his home town of Grays and amongst his friends and family at Thurrock rugby club.
There was a packed audience and a long long queue but we grabbed two minutes with Danny to talk about the book.
