UKIP leader confident for May elections

QUIETLY but effectively, UKIP candidates around the borough are knocking on doors and delivering a message that may well be resonating with voters. Whether that translates into votes is a moot point but the national polls now put UKIP ahead of the Lib-Dems.

UKIP leader, Clive Broad has also come a long now. A well-established and well respected local businessmen, deeply proud of his Thurrock roots. As a political orator, Clive has improved greatly.

UKIP in Thurrock were greatly buoyed by the presence of the People’s Pledge campaign in Thurrock but they are also pleased to see UKIP-centred issues gain national prominence.

Clive is also aware that Conservative MP’s such as Douglas Carswell (Clacton) are looking at the recent budget with the “Granny tax, the pasty tax and the caravan tax” and found himself, according to a Daily Mail poll as more popular than David Cameron.
