“We do not and will not tolerate this and have had some successful prosecutions from a number of cases.”
Action taken by Thurrock in noise nuisance cases has included seizure of equipment including televisions and stereos, the issue of Anti-social Behaviour Orders and fines.
Residents can report noise nuisance to Thurrock Council’s out-of-hours noise nuisance line on 01375 372468. Environmental Health Officers are on call every Friday and Saturday evening, and Sundays on Bank Holiday weekends, between 9pm and 3am.
