FIRE CREWS tackled a fire in a structure of jack-leg cabins measuring eight by 45 metres in Oliver Road, Grays.
On arrival the officer in charge reported that the building was 80% well alight.
Firefighters reported that they had the fire surrounded by 05:05hrs.
Using four main jets and one hose reel jet firefighters had extinguished the fire by 06:03hrs.
One crew remains at the site for some hours after the fire was extinguished turning over and damping down.
A full investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the fire.
