IT HAS now been eighteen months into the job for Thurrock Council chief executive, Graham Farrant. For him it has all been about the strategic “heavy-lifting” of developing a clear vision of where Thurrock is going.
It is only a short time ago that Thurrock had a succession of chief executives but now there seems to be stability. That coupled with the partnership with Labour leader of the council, cllr John Kent, Thurrock Council appears to be a much more settled place.
Having said that: questions still remain. We put these questions to Mr Farrant in an extended interview at hs New Road offices.
