POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery in Pitsea on July 20. Around 7.15pm an 18-year-old man from Stanford Le Hope was in the old Market Retail Park, Pitsea, near to Kentucky Fried Chicken when a man approached him from behind and punched him in the side of the face. The suspect then grabbed the cash he was holding in his hand and ran off.
The suspect is described as white, age 30s, large build, bald headed and was wearing jeans and a navy blue hooded jumper. A second man was with him.
The victim received a minor injury.
