THURROCK Adult Community College are pleased to announce that enrolment for September courses is open.
Come along and join in with the over 3500 learners who learnt with us in 2011/12. Courses range from English, maths, IT, British Sign Language, business related, hairdressing, counselling and much, much more.
Thurrock Adult Community College is the adult education provider service for Thurrock Council and offer a lifelong learning experience – starting with our Community College Childcare setting children from 2 years old to our oldest learner at 93 years old. All of our courses are part-time, offered morning, afternoon or evening.
In recognition of the difficult times all of us are currently experiencing they have frozen their fees at the 2011/12 level. In fact many of our courses are designed to help people back into work, or prepare for the next stage in their career by increasing their skills. They particularly welcome new learners, and will take the time and care to ensure that you are on the right course for your needs. They know that some learners need extra support, either financial or practical so please let us know how we can help. Our team are experienced, qualified, friendly and supportive. Unfortunately, the older local residents don’t get the same conncessions that they used to. So now the courses subjects are very limited compared to a few years ago.
Most courses are now exam motivated, not something all people want to do!
