ON A BEAUTIFUL afternoon, staff and families at Thurrock Women’s Aid gathered together to open the new play facilities at the refuge.
Helped massively by funding from Runwood Homes as well as supported by Thurrock Council and organisations such as Curves of Corringham, the play area is a tremendous addition to the home and will help children to play out whilst they are there.
In attendance was Gordon Sanders and Sarah Sanders from Runwood Homes, Thurrock cllr Barbara Rice, Theresa Fitzgerald from Curves of Corringham.
The speech at the opening was made by trustee, Joyce Sweeney.
