Council excited to pay its part at Orsett Show

THURROCK Council will have a large marquee celebrating the borough at the show which is on Saturday 1 September.

Held at the Orsett showground off of the A13, visitors can meet people from Travel Thurrock, the Thameside Theatre, Sustainable Transport, Public Rights of Way, Fostering Service, Waste & Recycling, Impulse Leisure, TRUP, Family Information Service, Vitality, and Sheltered Housing.

A main feature of the show will be the Heritage Zone, thanks to the sponsorship of the Port of Tilbury, which will showcase the many groups who preserve, promote and manage the heritage of Thurrock and the regulars from the Langdon Hills Country Park

There will be lots of interactive activities for all the family, plus the opportunity to win tickets to see the Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, at the Thameside Theatre.

This promises to be a fun day for all the family so don’t miss out.
