FIRE Crews used a large hacksaw to free a 21-year-old woman who had got her finger trapped in a vegetable tin.
Crews were called to Hawkins Drive in Chafford Hundred at just after 7.30pm on Monday night.
The casualty had attempted to open the can using a knife when her finger became trapped.
At 20:00 hrs, efforts were being made to release her.
An Ambulance crew was in attendance.
The woman was freed by 20:28 hrs.
