THE CAR PARK was awash with high-vis staff and students at the cars streamed down Mayflower Road in Chafford as prospective parents flocked to the school to see what type of education, their child could receive.
Even though sixth form would be some time away, many of the parents cast an eye on the fabulous new sixth form centre.
Executive principal, Chris Tomlinson made an impassioned speech to parents where he listed the outstanding achievements of the school. He was also at pains to point out that the school did not select and yet achieved fantastic results.
The school has been at the top of the exam league in Thurrock for three years in a row.
Principal, Nicola Graham also spoke and outlined the processes by which parents could apply.
Room after room was filled with fascinating and educational displays as staff spoke to parents about what they could expect from the school and their subject in particular.
