Charity concert set to be a Revelation at Horndon Village Hall

HORNDON band are set to play a charity concert at the Horndon Village Hall at the end of the month.

Revelation have been a regular fixture on the festival scene in Thurrock including the Horndon Feast and Fayre, the North Stifford Fete and the Stanford Festival.

Revelation comprise of Andy (aka Andrew) Sentance (CBE), Anne Sentance, Mick Holland and Pete Stephens.

The concert is on behalf of a number of charities. Build It International as well as the Chikupira Foundation.

The concert is on Saturday October 27th at 7.30pm.

Full details of the charities can be found at: and

Andrew is a trustee of Build-It, which works in Zambia, and Anne is a trustee of Chikupira, which works in the neighbouring country of Malawi. As an added musical twist, Bryan Adams – the well-known Canadian rock musician – is the Patron of BuilditInternational.

Revelation play classic rock music from the late 50s (Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly), through the 60s (Beatles, Zombies, Monkees) to the 70s and 80s (Pink Ployd, Rainbow, Billy Joel, Van Morrison).

They will be supported at this concert by Tim Sentance, who is an extremely talented saxophonist and keyboard player: (Tim is the 23-year old son of Anne and Andy, and was a well-known performer in the Thurrock area in his teenage years.)
