IMPULSE Leisure went dotty with Pudsey Bear last week raising money for Children in Need with energetic events at the Civic Hall and at all Leisure Centres.
This year they raised over £1300 by holding three fun packed fitness events which members of the public and Impulse Members and their families attended. Pudsey bear himself even made an appearance to lend us his paw!
The winners of the LAST ONE STANDING Fitness Challenge held on Monday 12th November 2012 at the Civic Hall Grays were, Sam Tuck ‘Last Woman Standing’, and the ‘Last Man Standing’ was Graeme Palmer. Both completed several fitness endurance rounds to claim the title of the Last One Standing!
Pudsey Bear was impressed with the amount of support for the ‘Dancethon’ event which he and 100 others took part in on Monday night at the Civic Hall.
The ‘Bounceathon’ on Thursday 15th November 2012 was held between 8.00am and 6pm at all Centres, Belhus Park, Blackshots and Corringham Reception areas. All Centre’s had to have someone bouncing at all times during the day!
It was a tough challenge but everyone helped out and all centres met the challenge!
Impulse Leisure would like to thank everyone that took part in the events and showed their spots and raised lots! In total the amount raised was an amazing £1329.12p.
