IT IS one of the highlights of the year in the borough as the community gathers together to celebrate the Indian festival of light called Diwali.
Organised by the Thurrock Asian Association and compered, choreographed and co-ordinated by Meena Mitra, the three hour show combined dance and music to celebrate all that is vivid and entertaining in Indian culture.
Thurrock MP, Jackie Doyle-Price was in attendance and presented flowers to the organisers at the end of the show.
