Hackney 5 v 22 T-Birds Development
THE T birds development team beat Hackney away this weekend in a London 3 fixture and stormed to the top of the league !
In a hotly contested game Thurrock forward power proved too strong for their opponents.
Prop Robin Connell scored her 1st ever try when she burrowed through from short range.
Other tries followed from skipper Charlie Close and Kayleigh Wheeler before 1st team captain Mercedes Foy, coming back from a knee injury, scored from a barnstorming run.
Final score was 22-5 to Trfc
Next game for the ladies is 9th December with both teams at home,
1sst play Darlington where the England captain Katie McClean is standoff 2pm KO and development team play Hampstead at 1pm.
