A CANDLE catching light to curtains is believed to have triggered a fire in a ground floor flat.
Firefighters were called to Campion Court, Church Hill Road, Little Thurrock at 9pm on Monday night (Dec 10th).
The crews were wearing breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to tackle the incident in a two storey block.
Crews arriving at the scene reported that the whole of the flat was smoke logged.
