FOR the fifth day out of six, the roads in Thurrock have been brought to their knees by a series of road traffic incidents in the borough.

Police have appealed for witnesses following a collision on the M25 at Thurrock in which four people were injured.
Officers were called at shortly after 7am following reports of a crash on the anti-clockwise carriageway at Junction 31.
The road was closed until about 12.35pm while a police investigation was carried out and damaged vehicles were removed.
Three cars, a Mercedes, an S-Max and a BMW and two heavy goods vehicles were involved in the collision.
Two women and two men were taken to hospitals at Basildon, Darenth Valley, Romford and Whitechapel.
Any witnesses or anyone with information about events leading to the crash should contact the investigating officer Pc Joe Gasparini at the Chigwell Road Policing Office on 101.
A 35-year-old man from Chatham, Kent was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Update 0930 hrs: Police update
Police have urged drivers to avoid the M25 in Thurrock following a multi-vehilce collision in which two people have been seriously injured.
Officers were called at shortly after 7am following reports of a crash on the anti-clockwise carriageway between the Dartford tunnel and Junction 31.
The road is likely to be closed for at least four hours while a police investigation is carried out and damaged vehicles are removed.
Three cars and two heavy goods vehicles were involved in the collision and there have been four casualties, two with serious injuries.

4 Vehicle RTC-two trapped on M25, Jct 31 to 30
Firefighters were called to an RTC involving three cars and one lorry which left two men trapped. Using three sets of hydraulic cutting equipment crews had released them both by 08:10hrs.

Police were called at just after 7am on Wednesday December 19, 2012, following reports of a collision on the M25 anticlockwise near junction 31 involving four vehicles.
Police have put in a road closure at junction 31 onto junction 30.
Police are currently at the scene and are asking people to avoid the area.
