Christmas Eve tragedy after man dies following road traffic collision in Corringham

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Corringham.

A Ford Fiesta travelling at low speed in Goldsmiths Avenue at 6.35am this morning, December 24, was in collision with the front of a property.

The driver of the vehicle, a local man aged in his 80s sadly died shortly after his arrival at hospital.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email collisionappeal@essex.pnn.police.uk
