IT LOOKS like Grays School and Arsenal have a lot on common as they are both thinking outside the box!
Miss Pellat (French Teacher) and Mr Nathan (PE Teacher) decided to work on a common project linking both their subjects together with The Arsenal Language Club.
A group of ten Year 8 and 9 boys joined the club for six weeks.
The boys enjoyed the sessions in the classroom as much as the sessions on the pitch, to the point that they asked for the club to last longer than the planned six weeks.
The group ended their Arsenal Language Course by visiting the Emirates Stadium on Monday 3rd December 2012. Despite the fact that they could not meet the players and Arsene Wenger, they all enjoyed visiting the museum, the stadium and backstage.
They also took part in some French activities before getting some treats and certificates.
This club has been a real success for its first time at the school and Mr Nathan and Miss Pellat are hoping to run it again next year.
